This page is dedicated to my Classic Video Game Collection. I officially became a Video Game Collector in March, 2002. But my collection actually started way back in the early 1980’s. Back in the early 1980’s we got an Intellivision for Christmas. We got some cool games with it, my Favorite was UTOPIA. I loved sailing around fishing and building stuff. (I’m sure this is the game that got me interested in Real-Time Strategy games) We aslo got Baseball & Football, we wore out o few sets of control pads with those games. That was the most disapointing part of the Intellivision, the control pads went bad fairly quickly.

On March 5, 2002, I was on vacation and walking through the Goodwill Store in Spanaway, Washington when I noticed an old video game system in a little cardboard box. I looked at it and it was an Atari and seemed to have all of the parts. So I looked around and found some Atari games and bought everything. I was pretty excited. I was dying to play Pac-Man again! When I got back to my friends house I went online and tried to find as much information about Atari’s I could find. There is a lot of information on the web, but the best Atari site I found was

ATARI AGE.COM.

Turns out the Atari I bought was a CX-2600 A. It is a “4-switch” model and was about the 3rd 2600 model Atari introduced. Turns out that I needed a RF TV/Game switch box to hook it up to a TV and it wasn’t included with the Atari I bought but I knew I had on at home, so it was going to be a little longer before I could find out if this Atari worked or not. Well, when I finally got home and got everything I needed to hook up this Atari I found out that the Power Supply was busted, BUMMER!!! Well, my brother had a universal power supply at his place so he brought it over. I quickly plugged it in and it WORKED! I was playing Pac-Man in no time. I had always wanted an Atari ever since I played a friends way back in the early 1980’s and now 20 years later I finally have one of my own.
I finally got my FAVORITE game. In MY opinion, it is the GREATEST Video Game ever made, it is

for the Sega Genesis Video Game system. Back in the early 1990’s while I was in Germany, I rented this game from the video store and was hooked imediatly! This game is AWESOME!

It is so much fun, you play as 2 hip aliens who crash land on Earth. The goal of the game is to collect the pieces of thier rocket ship so they can get back to thier home planet of Funkotron. This game is always "new" as no two levels are ever the same in any game. It is best when played with a partner. If you both are close together you play "full Screen" if you decide to split up, you play "split screen" with one player on the top half of the screen and the other player on the bottom half. This is my favorite feature of the game because the screen changes on its own when you both get close together or move apart.

I have wanted to own this game ever since the first time I played it. It is a hard game to find so the price keeps getting higher & higher. I would guess it now costs more USED than it did when it was NEW! I payed $46.00 for a complete used game on eBay.
