Hot Wheels: I started collecting these in 1995. I now have well over 1000 cars. I open some but most are still in their packages. For a while I was buying just about every car they came out with, but I have cut back some. I now only buy the ones modeled after classic cars, such as Mustangs, Cameros & Cadillacs. I really like the new 1967 Mustang (Mattel calls it a 1968 but it IS a '67) it is red and just plain awesome! NASCAR: Favorite NASCAR Item: 2001 Kmart 500 Darrell Waltrip #66 (1/24 scale) To get this car you had to collect "500" points by purchasing various products at Kmart during 2001. (Some of these cars were autographed by Darrell) Most Valuable NASCAR Item: Action #43 (1/24 scale)
